I came to this restaurant due to the hype on social media because of their authentic food. I decided to come and try it with a friend and it did not disappoint. As soon as you’re seated, you get offered hot tea and water. The hot tea is good. The waiter provided some great suggestions. The only thing is that we did have to request the chow mein noodles, when it was offered to the other tables. To eat, I tried the fried shrimp taro cake, fried crab rangoon, pan fried pork dumplings and special lomein. The fried shrimp taro cake was the best thing I’ve tried that day. It was delicious and I could eat this all day, everyday. The fried crab rangoon was also delicious and I will definitely order it again. The pork dumplings were tasty too. The special lomein had pork, chicken and shrimp and it was very good. It also came with white rice, which was had no seasoning, but that was expected. The special lomein is definitely a shareable dish. Overall, the service was good and the food was very tasty. I was also very surprised how affordable it was. This is definitely a place I would return when I’m craving Chinese food.

Absolute gem for authentic Cantonese cuisine and dim sum in Miami! The menu features incredible traditional dishes - standouts include the scallop dumplings, flavorful eggplant, and duck. Everything arrives piping hot, fresh, and packed with bold flavors. The service is fast and friendly, and the prices are remarkably reasonable.

As a disabled American I value how I am treated. Kon Chau is a casual dine in and take out Chinese Restaurant. They are located at the same shopping center as the Blue Elephant and Pinecrest Bakery. There is plenty of Parking. The Pineapple Fried Rice is EXCELLENT. The Vegetable Delight dish is superb and the dumplings are delicious. The tables are wood with wood chairs. There can be a 15 wait time to sit. I have enclosed photos of the Mongolian beef, the Pineapple Fried Rice along with the menu photos and a video of the indoor seating area.

Hidden gem! Very difficult to find great Chinese food these days and this place was the perfect choice for us. We had the lo mein, Hunan chicken, egg fried rice, mushroom and chicken bun, shu mai, and the chicken soupy dumplings, all so good. Honest food at great prices. The wok hay on the fried rice and noodles was on another level, and nothing felt too heavy or greasy after. Staff were helpful and the gentlemen there were friendly. Tea was fantastic too. The whole place feels homely. High quality food, can’t go wrong :)

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food in the Miami area this is the spot to go to! They have a very nice dim sum selection that’s very authentic as well as other dishes. We got the shrimp dumplings (10/5 tasted homemade), eggplant (4/5), Shanghai soup dumplings (4/5), shrimp rice roll (10/5 so chewy and fresh), and chicken feet (5/5) Dimsum is the authentic I’ve had in the Miami area and the roast duck was pretty good as well (a bit on the saltier side for me personally but I have low salt tolerance). I went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was filled with people! The owner is very nice and tea is good as well!
